In the spirit of providing drivers with "the best or nothing", Mercedes-Benz is proud to introduce mbrace2, the second generation of connected, in-vehicle services. Offering perhaps the most comprehensive capabilities of any telematics system on the road, mbrace2 brings together pioneering safety, customized infotainment, vehicle care and personal assistance in a technology suite seamlessly integrated into our automobiles — and accessible by computer and compatible smartphone.

Starting this spring with the launch of the all-new SL-Class, mbrace2 will be included as standard equipment on most Model Year 2013 vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz Apps

Creating a truly networked vehicle, mbrace2 offers not only open internet access, but special versions of popular apps — including Facebook, Yelp and Google Local Search — designed specifically for in-vehicle use. And because it connects the car and the "cloud", the system can be upgraded whenever new software and applications become available.

Remote Access Services

While Mercedes-Benz mbrace has always enabled drivers to access select functions remotely through a computer or compatible smartphone, mbrace2 includes all-new services designed to give you even more peace of mind. Track your vehicle's use through features such as Driving Journal, Travel Zones and Valet Minder, or monitor its systems by running a Vehicle Health Check.

Remote Vehicle Diagnostics

Beyond allowing you to perform a check of your vehicle's main systems remotely, mbrace2 technology can automatically alert both you and your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to potential issues before they become full-fledged problems. In addition, it enables your vehicle to receive software updates wirelessly through the mbrace2 network.

mbrace Mobile App

The first application of its kind, the mbrace Mobile App provides convenient access to select services - such as Vehicle Finder, Remote Door Lock and Unlock, and all-new features like Valet Minder - through compatible Apple iPhone® or Android smartphones. And as we continue to add new services, it will make you wonder all the more how you ever lived without it.

mbrace Concierge

A feature at the heart of Mercedes-Benz mbrace from the beginning, Concierge service gives subscribers access to personal assistance 24/7, even if they're not with their car. Available through the in-vehicle system or by phone, specially trained Customer Specialists can help fulfill requests ranging from making airline, hotel or dinner reservations, to securing event tickets.
