2011 marks the second year that Mercedes-Benz USA has been recognized, as No. 15 on the list. Last year Mercedes-Benz made the list as well at No. 49. The successful jump to number 15 this year is not the only great accomplishment for Mercedes-Benz, as it also the sole automaker on the list.
“This is a great milestone for the Mercedes-Benz brand,” said Bob Milner, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach. “This particular recognition is especially rewarding because it is based on employee feedback. It shows that the brand is made up of hard working employees that are consistently recognized and appreciated. Being the only auto maker on the list is very rewarding.”
FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work Institute conducted the 2011 survey to pick the “100 Best Companies to Work For”. Two-thirds of a company’s score is based on the results of the Institute’s Trust Index survey, which is sent to a random sample of employees from each company.
